Ruth Langsford unveils her new fashion range for QVC

She may be approaching her 60th birthday but Ruth Langsford certainly defies her age as she models her latest fashion range.

The This Morning presenter, 57, who is married to co-host Eamonn Holmes, has added another string to her bow by designing her own range of ‘bright and stylish’ wardrobe essentials for AW17.

Ruth says her new range for QVC is inspired by her perfect day-to-day wardrobe and says she’s created a capsule of classic pieces that have been designed to give women ‘confidence in their fashion choices’.

Hoping to prove her point, Ruth models her statement lace dresses and hounds-tooth skirts herself in striking imagery.

Discussing her latest range, she said: ‘I have put my heart into designing the pieces and was determined that they reflect what women want – to look modern whilst being comfortable.

‘From the dresses and tops to jackets and my signature jeans I was passionate about designing a range that I would wear every day. I am so enormously proud of it.’

Ruth’s new modelling shoot comes after her blunder on this weekend’s Strictly.

It’s officially the halfway point of the BBC entertainment stalwart and with the Glitterball trophy in sight, the stars pulled out all the stops for this week’s instalment.

However, Strictly Come Dancing hopeful Ruth Langsford perhaps entertained viewers in a different way than she had hoped for after she hilariously fell on top of her dance partner Anton Du Beke on Saturday night.

Causing hilarity, the ITV presenter had judges, the audience and her husband Eamonn Holmes in a fit of laughter as she finished her cheeky Paso Doble to The Shady Dame From Seville by Julie Andrews on the floor.

The mayhem ensued following the end of her performance when they both lost their balance and Ruth ended on top of her dancing pro, flashing her bottom towards the camera.

Taking it in her stride however, she even straddled her ballroom pal as her red-faced husband Eamonn watched on, not knowing how to exactly react to her side-splitting moment.

Despite the fun, Ruth only managed to earn 22 points which left her at the bottom of this week’s leaderboard.
